I just wanted to say I was sorry to hear about your awful aniversary today. I too lost somebody on this day that I had mixed feelings about. Probably the only real father figure I've ever had. He wasn't a bad person, he just, in my opinion, made some bad choices. I believe if he had thought better (and of himself too) he would have had the chance to live, at the very least, a happier life. Whether or not it would have still been so short, I think it would have at least been better for him. So I just wanted to say, dispite the fact that I'm sure today will be weird and heavy for you, I hope you get the chance to embrace some good and enjoyment sometime today. I think I do my best just not to think of him, but that's not too healthy! I've not been to his grave yet. I didn't go to the funeral either -it's so I can pathetically deny that he's gone; I'm just waiting for him to walk up any minute and say something crass! ;p I prefer it that way, sad but true! Anyway, just wanted to say, I'm thinking of ya, and I'm sorry. I hope you have at the very least good thoughts and feelings for her today. Talk with ya, loves- l/d
That was some slippery side-stepping Mayo did at his blog tonight. I wonder how long it took him to learn those steps? Seriously, he should run for office, he'd make a great politician.
